Fun show last night, except for the being really sick part. Other than that, it rocked.
Off shortly with Danguy for the show again tonight, which, I am hoping, rocks yet again. I am less sick, stopped at work on the way home last night and got strange and wonderful Chinese Things For Colds, which made a lot of difference.
Right now, I think thinking nap, but by the time we get there, I will be ready, and will no doubt forget this illness and all the illness of this world for that matter. Oh, my yes. There will be rock. I really, really hope you are coming down. Yes, you.
Danguy made my new Blackberry talk to my Itunes today, and so now everyone, or at any rate, the people who call me most, in my phonebook, all have their very own ringsongs, which is the BEST....

ReplyDeleteI don't think I would get very far in that game. You know, I keep trying to get Ben and Jack to come up with my Theme Song. I picked theirs. Ben is "American Idiot" because he's a political junkie (his words, not mine) and loves third parties and the like. And Jack was "I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends." Perhaps I could be "I Get By With a Little Help From My Fiends." Maybe you guys can choose my Theme Song.

ReplyDeleteI only know of one person assigning a song to me on their phone. It's The Llama Song. I fell out of my chair laughing when she had me call her from the same room.

My Beau has always been some sort of Bo. Just never knew how it was spelled until Dulce came into his name (now they are my sweet (dulce) and handsome (beau) boys).
Maybe Mab has a different name, too?

ReplyDeleteJust got done test-cooking medieval European recipes - I'm feeding up to a hundred people for a whole weekend in a couple weeks. Everything was yummy.
After the shopping for the test batches, and the price-checking on all the major ingredients, and then the cooking and of course eating, I'm tired, Plus, the instant I sat down, finally, the cat sat on me, so I may be here for the rest of the evening.
Of course, if I were close enough for the gig, I'd so be there tired or no.

There are also beef, chicken, spinach, and root vegetable dishes, but we didn't try those tonight.

What a great night! Other than how lit I am and that I am (surely) behaving like an idiot, I had a lovely night out. M got some treasure. I got to have a night out with Katy. We got to listen to P & L rock. What could be better?
