Riding Ponies With AFP.....
Tonight's post, with pictures of Miss Amanda Palmer (AKA AFP) on her Pony, is entirely due to the courtesy of Miss Palmer in letting me post them, and Mr Cassidy who took them and is letting me post them, and Horsetrainer Mel, who provided the Pony, Glorious. Riding with Amanda was really lovely, and more fun than you can possibly know. (I adore that women!) I loved it that they all came out to the farm with me, and that she got a chance to ride one of the loveliest Arab geldings going.
It was easy to see that she really loves horses, and I believe all concerned had a wonderful time.
My Boss would like me to add that AFP is the best houseguest ever, and that she is welcome to return any time she likes.
I hope she will....Soon.

It was a beautiful weekend. Picture perfect days Saturday and Sunday, and you all look like you are having such a wonderful time outside and enjoying each other and the spectacular ponies.
I agree with Siri on the lovely aspect, though.
More days like that please. Happiness is catching...
It's hard not to be envious of such a beautiful weekend, but I think I can just to joyous at the gloriousness of it all.

the joy ad bliss in those pictures really comes through. lovely just doesn't seem to be adequate.
I wanted this post to be about Amanda and her joy that day, more of me and horses soon. This is not a Who's the prettiest contest! She is my friend and fast becoming one of my best friends, and between such, there is none of that.

I did not put a "yes" on Kyle's LJ; by the time I saw it there were already hundreds of people involved and it just seemed... too much. The idea was interesting though.
And now, off to the land of meetings that start too early and run too long. Though I suppose showering and dressing first would be advisable. My new postdoc might be a bit unhappy if her new boss showed up in sweats and smelly for this meeting she organized.
