Strarring Freaky Venus and Madame Mim!

I did it! Took little movies with my camera and even uploaded them! My, I am so proud! My first films, ah, the possibilities are endless. I shall make Bengal Movies, with music! Start an all Bengal all the time cable channel! Move onto 3D! And the big screen!

Right.

Mim is loving her Cat Wheel, formerly The Poop Wheel. (Yeah, all the time) It goes slower now tho, and the solid backing helps her from feeling she will fall thru.

The second movie is just a little Venus and Mim on Magics porch, not a lot of action, but perhaps it makes up for it in serious drama. The mood, the feelings, the, well, it's Bengals, what can I say?

I hope you enjoy my little movies..

Love and Film,
Lorraine

How did you end up slowing the wheel down? (I've noticed that the new models have a tensioner)

That's so awesome! My mom has a Bengal ... Pretty sweet cat. I tried to get my husband to agree to be a rescue home, but his head twirled around and then he puked up pea soup at the mention. I guess that's a no? I'll have to make due with the three non-Bengal cats we have. And the dog. And the two birds, who would likely not survive if a Bengal lived here.

At 19:12 Blogger Mandi said...

Wow, that is slower?! The other ones I've seen don't seem to go that fast. Maybe they are heavier.

Love the look on Mim's face when she goes flying off the wheel in the first one. "I did that on purpose!"

Nice job!

Go, Mim! Go! Meowwrr! Heh, she still nearly went all the way round in the first vid.

They're very happy to be porching, aren't they? And you guys seem to have ended up with a nice day. Very grey and windy all day here.

I love the Boo mat! :D

At 19:31 Blogger Dragonsally said...

Talkative Mim says Meowwrr!

I had to make sure Tysie wasn't watching, or she would be demanding a wheel I think. A slower wheel for her 16 year old bones, but still a wheel.

The girls look so happy, and I love seeing and hearing them.

At 19:47 Blogger Uisge said...

Yay for wheel fun. Love that she gets to really stretch her legs in there.

Hi Red, we put in a spring, it isn't a lot slower, but she has to work harder with the spring on the bolt in back. She feels safer too.

(Kind of want one of those new models tho, they have improved them so)

Well, Heather, can't say birds would THRIVE around bengals, and they are very good at getting things OPEN.

(LAughing at the spitting pea soup tho!)

I think it's slower, enough anyway...

Mim does that "I meant to do that" look a lot.

They do love porching, and when I open Magics room, they run around and around.

Came in from the hot tub to find Magic on the stove. Ok,Magic.

That wheel is amazing...wondering where I would put one...

Nice movies! Can't have too much cat.

oh wow, love the poowheel action :)

Mim looks so happy to run and run!

YAY! LOVE the movies! So happy that now we get moving bengal pictures!!! The wheel is so awesome! I am filled with glee. I have to share the videos with my company. :-)

Look Mom, no poop!

At 20:49 Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

No poop yet! And Magic has been out all evening. They even ate together. Kind of.

At 20:50 Blogger Jean said...

Your little movies were a huge hit here! My cats are all getting up there in years (12, 13, and 17 years old), so I don't think they'll be wanting a wheel, but if they were younger, I might think about it.

At 20:57 Blogger Lioness said...

So good to see the wheel in action! Do you have extra strong wire screens? How else do they survive cat claws?

At 21:06 Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Pet proof screening. They can't tear it. The picture on the box has HUGE dogs trying, lol. Mim climbs all over it.

At 21:13 Blogger bengalgirl said...

Great videos, so happy the wheel is poop free. I still haven't gotten mine back out for Lacey, I don't like the poop taking a ride around and around and landing in a little pile.

I picked up 4 bengal boys yesterday seizured from a hoarder in NW IN. Two marble and two spotted neutered boys, very beautiful Unfortunately I don't have any open fosters near me so I have them all, way too much litter duty.

At 21:13 Blogger bengalgirl said...

whoops seized not seizured

At 21:14 Blogger Kitty Cat said...

i am so very proud of you!!!

At 21:24 Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Mim's poop never landed in a little pile. More of a uh, streak all around. UGH!

Let us know when to get word out about Bengal Boys, poor dears!

Thanks Kitty! I learned it all from you. Actually, really did..

Love the videos!

Mim looks so happy on the wheel. And they both look so happy and inquisitive on the scream porch. Seeing them in action is so exciting.

Great directorial debut, Quiche! I can hardly wait to see more.

Love the vids. My camera won't do that. Wrong format I think. I love the wheel. I should really get one for Zoomie, she sort of treats the walls like a wheel.

At 00:31 Blogger Dragonsally said...

There are some advantages of mad spring cleaning before a rental inspection...you discover things you had forgotten you owned. Disadvantage is the reminder of how much cluttery stuff you've collected.

At 02:54 Blogger Marjorie said...

Love the videos! I wonder whether Magic will show any interest in the poo wheel? Or would he just be scared?

At 08:18 Blogger LihuaEmilyP said...

They're stunning. And look at that purple duct tape go ...

At 08:21 Blogger Phiala said...

The wolfie on my feet is too soundly asleep to even notice the bengals talking. Usually he likes to listen to other animals.

It's good that he's all snuggly instead, since it is cold and windy and nasty here. I should make coffee and breakfast, but don't want to disentangle myself from blanket and warm wolfie.

At 09:34 Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Morning!

I hope magic will show some interest, the lil pudge! May take a while, I thought he could never be in with Venus and Mim tho too..

Sleepy this morning and late, but there's a dog for me today, and some riding I am hoping. All good.

Okay, that was really nice to see. My first thought on watching Mim run was 'how effortless'. And so effortless looking in the way they jump and move. They're beautiful. Thank you.
I like that cat people ask about the porch screen - we're so practical that way. *g*

At 11:52 Blogger Marjorie said...

Sally, you're being inspected *again*? isn't that the 3rd time in about 6 months?

At 14:08 Anonymous Wendy Withers said...

GOOD MORNING!!!

I have a date next week, where dinner will be bought for me. Not with the 21-year-old, though.

We might be going to Green Goddess again for the date. That's turning out to being my favorite restaurant here. I <3 Chris.

At 14:09 Anonymous Wendy Withers said...

Also, I want to see many more videos. I would suggest setting up videos all over the house and streaming live 24-hours-a-day, so we'll always know what the bengals are up to.

At 14:54 Blogger Claire said...

The cat wheel is really something. It and the Bengals vocal musings made me laugh. Thanks for sharing the videos!

At 16:32 Blogger Dragonsally said...

Seems like it Marjorie doesn't it. They seem to be on a six monthly basis now, this will make it 3 in the last year. Inspections seem to happen when you tell the agent something needs to be done. *sigh*

At 16:33 Blogger Dragonsally said...

And...considering we've lived here for 8 years, you'd think they know we take care of the place.

At 16:43 Blogger Hellie said...

Loved the first episodes of "The Bengals", great camerawork too! All my movies come out really shaky! Lovely to see the Bengals in action, they are gorgeous and aren't they talkative?! Hope the next instalment introduces us to the rest of the family :o)

New series of Big Bang Theory starts here on Thursday (yay!)

Who stole my weekend? Bedtime already, sigh...

At 16:54 Blogger Ms T said...

Hmm...must be flat inspection season. I've got another one coming up next week. Time to declutter!

And where did the weekend go indeed?

At 19:34 Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Ride didn't happen, close tho, but things came up here. Perfect spring evening.

Did some leash walking with Venus and Mim, then hot tubbed, then little house chores.

Wanted to get a new rug for the porch, so then changed it around, and wheeled Mim for a but then thought about curtains and what if the kitchen was different,,,then told myself to SIT DOWN and stop DOING things!

I don't have clutter, and stuff everywhere, but I hate things not being perfect, and I really don't like DIRTY, but I am horrid about cleaning, no good at it.

Need to call Spooky Cleaning Teen to come over and work her magic. If I could figure out how she did it, I might try, but it never does look as good.

I do have STUFF now I spray the counter with. (NO you can't laugh) which helps, and I swept the floor in there. Worked wonders.

SO goes my evening..

At 20:00 Blogger Phiala said...

I have counter spray too... anything that makes it easier to cope with Mr. Entropy.

I'm writing databases on Sunday evening... for fun. No really. It involves a big fiction project and some skills I want to learn.

I have MS Venus causing the problem mostly, she gets food EVERYWHERE, but my mighty Greenworks ALL PURPOSE (meaning no more trying to figure out WHAT exactly it is meant to clean) takes care of it.

I have been craving SODA for two days now really badly, odd for me. FInally gave in, what the heck, long weekend, let's party, and went and ordered a large root beet.

It's lovely, but it comes in what seems to be a BUCKET. Enough for four or five people! Had no clue! I swear it is a half gallon/2 liter size drink. Ok...

At 21:11 Blogger ariandalen said...

Love the videos, Ms. Fabulous. Well done! I can see how Mim will continue to be happier with a slower wheel. I can also see how she would have been going all the way around before you slowed it down.

Hi, Reg, Heather Zenzen, and Mandi! Now that you are officially Fiends, you will want one of these lovely white, buckled jackets. If you want to personalize your jacket, as several Fiends have, there are all sorts of things on the table over there that you can use. :)

At 00:30 Blogger spacedlaw said...

Kitty talk! Great videos, Lorriane.
I wonder if Venus ever gets on that wheel, it looks like Mim's exclusive territory.
Poor Venus, she so wants out in that second video...

At 10:05 Blogger One Sock Short said...

Going in circles too. Only not so energetically. Tick.

At 10:08 Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Believe me, if Venus wanted the wheel, she would have it, she is top cat. Doesn't want to, I've tried..

Darned interesting work day so far.

I'm back at it, but chatter me nicely, eh? I'll try and do some blog on something OTHER than Bengals tonight LOL

At 12:21 Blogger Marjorie said...

I'm glad someone's having an interesting day at work!
I just got home after a very dull day. And we still don't have a government...

At 12:25 Blogger FabulousLorraine said...

Interesting ain't the word...

But I won.

Of course.

New post is up....

And it is me, back on my soapbox...

The doormat!! BOO!! It's fabulous. And of course, so are the kitties. The wheel is amazing :)
