Flight to London Available!!

Hello anyone trying to get to the UK, or back to the US from the UK!

Our Travel Agency has booked a private jet. Details below. There are still about 50 seats left on this plane.

Please contact: Bettianne Belzano at bbalzano@ovationtravel.com if interested....

We have confirmed a 737 plane at our disposal to pick up or take passengers from Newark to London.
* Basically the plane will leave here 6 hours after the skies are cleared.
* People in London can expect to depart 12-18 hours thereafter.

The plane is fitted in all coach - rows of 3 and 2 seats each. I have upgraded meals to be along business-class standards, but there is nothing we can do about the seats.

The price would be $2000.00 all-in ,per person assuming we fill all 174 seats.

Magic! Very impressive, Q.

Now the volcano just has to subside enough that airspace can be opened...

You rock, Q. You are my PA idol

Thanks for the info! Have passed along to the stranded travelers. Hoping they come home soon...

Excellent! Maybe Adri can use this to get home from London :-)

BRAVA!

Not that there was any doubt you would find a way. :)

Wow. You are AMAZING!

I am totally impressed and yet it was to be expected. What are your tips on clearing the airspace?

Impressive! You have worked your magic once again!

you have mother nature on speed dial now to rain all of the ash out of the sky, right?

you really are fabulous and can make anything happen. i'm convinced you are magical.

BBC just announced UK airspace reopening in an hours time!

You seriously CAN do anything :-)

You are a powerful wizard-witch-princess-magical one.

Just got home from doing a wedding. Bride in black. 13 black roses in her bouquet. Wedding cake was a pyramid-stack of doughnut holes. They've had a rough few years (met while homeless, kicked a nasty meth habit -- I'm guessing from the lack of teeth) but they have their lives together and a beautiful toddler girl. The success stories don't get told enough I don't think.

Hmm, now what...change out of wedding clothes and do things. Yes, things.

Charter may be leaving NY tonight!

Waiting on details.

(Very timely Marjorie, JUST got into grocery store. Left cart and ran. Boss may be on a flight in a couple hours TO NY)

At 15:42 Blogger Marjorie said...

Will keep my fingers crossed for swift and safe flight for Boss.

I just heard from my best friend that her grandmother passed away today. Not unexpected but the timing sucks as BF's partner is stuck in Istanbul so she's on her own. Hopefully he'll be able to get a flight back soon to be with her.

At 16:16 Blogger Dragonsally said...

Seriously impressed Q.

I'm betting that plane will fill quickly once the word is out.

Marjorie - much love and support to your best friend.

At 17:35 Blogger LincolnBlog said...

Uhm, just WOW!

At 20:47 Blogger Siri said...

Seems like Marjorie's BF's partner should get priority seating on a flight - that seems more important than any reason I'd have to travel. Luck to them....

At 20:47 Blogger Siri said...

And tick, again.

At 20:49 Anonymous Wendy Withers said...

I bet some of Boss's fans would pay $2,000 just to sit on a plane with him for the bunch of hours it takes to get to the UK.

I need a passport. :(

Also, I have allergies! Allergies were making me sick! I now have a big bag o' allergy medicines and I already feel better!

At 21:06 Blogger One Sock Short said...

Most impressive. As always.

Wendy, glad they're identified what ails you. Hope the allergy meds do their job.

Cory Doctorow is still stranded in the US, according to his twitter. He might be interested. Just a thought...

We have had dramas here today

Poor puppy! Glad she is improving.

At 02:26 Blogger Dragonsally said...

I must let you all know, she is gradually improving *hugest sigh of relief ever*
normal whining for food has recommenced.

Coolio. I would totally take you up on this if I were going to go to London. But I ahm. Am not. Unfortunately.

You really are Fabulous (though we knew that already!)

Looking increasingly likely that our trip is on! Nathalie I hope you can get to Paris too.

I'm meeting up with a group of friends to see our favourite singer. One friend should now hopefully be able to get from Germany, and the singer and band are scheduled on a flight from the US tomorrow!

Marjorie, much sympathy & support to your friend, hope her partner is home cuddling her soon

Morning!

Flight is still on. Anything tho, can happen with Volcanos. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I was asleep by 10 last night. Must have been WORKING yesterday. Didn't even ride.

Just figured out why my Morning TV had seemed to get REALLY stupid for the last week or so. Been watching the wrong channel. Even going to bed early does not apparently make me a Morning Person.

At 07:48 Blogger EmilyLady said...

That WOULD explain things pretty well.

At 09:38 Blogger Jess said...

I hope it wasn't FOX News. God, imagine a whole week of accidentally watching FOX News. (On second thought, don't.)

I suppose now is as good a time as any, seeing as I'm excited and I want people to remain excited, and to start making things or keep making things for the next round of submissions: The Night Garden Project is semi-live. Go look at what our wonderful contributors did! Go! Now! Click! Look!

The project is only semi-live because the fundraising-for-GLBR half of the project is not yet ready to go. (You know: the really important bit. :/ Lys! I need you!) But we need our contributors to keep contributing, and we want new people who want to make art. If you've not yet got involved and would like to, have a poke around, and get in touch!
